Randy uses the sustainable hook and line method only! Working from a small boat allows Randy to keep his fish in pristine condition from catch to delivery. Each fish is properly bled, iced, and cared for with gracious treatment that often cannot be provided on very large boats.
Randy’s fishing grounds range from the Mexican Border North to the Channel Islands.
What is your favorite part about your fishing?
A true supporter of the boat to plate system, Randy’s favorite part about fishing is being able to bring back the best possible catch for his friends and family to enjoy. What are your hobbies outside of fishing?
Outside of fishing, Randy is often camping, boating, or shooting.
Randy’s advice is to stick with your goals. “They will happen,” he says, “Sometimes in pieces, sometimes in chunks….Just keep moving forward!!”
How do you cook what you catch?
Randy’s favorite way to eat his fish is “Simple and Fresh, BBQ’d with a little EVOO and Salt and Pepper.”
